CA Proposition 65
California Proposition 65 Disclosure – Xtremis Cartel
What Is Proposition 65?
California’s Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a state law that requires businesses to provide warnings before knowingly exposing individuals in California to chemicals identified by the State of California as potentially causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) maintains and updates a list of these chemicals. The list currently includes hundreds of substances, many of which may occur naturally or in trace amounts in food ingredients, dietary supplements, agricultural products, and environmental sources.
Xtremis Cartel’s Role
Xtremis Cartel is the brand owner and distributor of Xtremis Cartel–branded products. As such, we are responsible for product formulation oversight, ingredient sourcing, labeling, and regulatory compliance for products sold under the Xtremis Cartel name.
Xtremis Cartel is committed to transparency and provides Proposition 65 warnings where required by California law.
Why Xtremis Cartel Products Carry a Proposition 65 Warning
Proposition 65 does not prohibit the sale of products that contain listed chemicals. Instead, it requires a warning when a consumer’s exposure to a listed chemical exceeds the exposure level established by the State of California.
Certain naturally occurring ingredients, minerals, botanical materials, or processing-related trace elements may result in exposure to chemicals listed under Proposition 65, including heavy metals such as lead.
Where required, Xtremis Cartel provides Proposition 65 warnings prior to purchase in accordance with California law.
California Proposition 65 Warning
For products requiring a warning, the following disclosure applies:
⚠️ WARNING (California Proposition 65):
Consuming this product can expose you to one or more chemicals, including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
For more information, go to https://www.p65warnings.ca.gov/food.
Does a Proposition 65 Warning Mean a Product Is Unsafe?
No. A Proposition 65 warning does not mean that a product is unsafe or defective.
California’s warning thresholds are often set significantly lower than exposure limits established by federal and international health agencies, including the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the World Health Organization (WHO).
A Proposition 65 warning is intended to provide information so California consumers can make informed purchasing decisions.
Variations in Product Labeling
Xtremis Cartel products may be sold nationwide. In some cases:
-
Products packaged for California distribution may include Proposition 65 warnings on the label
-
Products sold outside California may not display the same warnings

Regardless of label placement, Xtremis Cartel provides required Proposition 65 disclosures online prior to purchase for California consumers.
